These wines are selected not just for quality in their own right, but also to compliment our food. There are no rigid rules in matching food and wine but as a guide pair delicate flavours together, acidity (crispness) with salty and oily food, and intensity with richness. Clearly sweet wine is best with dessert, although our slightly sweet welcome drink is just right to gently warm up your palate before the meal!. Champagne serves well as an appetiser, too, and compliments most of our starters and fish dishes. For more recommendations please ask us!

Burgundy, France
Clos de la Justice is a vineyard which, somewhat unusually, is wholly owned by the vigneron Vallet Freres. This is reflected in the wine’s weighty depth of deliciously wild sweet berries & meaty richness. with just the beginnings of the aromas of decay so enjoyed by fans of the fickle Pinot Noir grape.
